David Aebischer is a retired professional hockey goalie. The Swiss goalie was selected 161st overall to the Colorado Avalanche in 1997. Aebischer stayed in Colorado for a number of years and was on the 2001 Stanley Cup Avalanche team, where he backed up the legendary Patrick Roy.  David played for 2 other NHL teams, but much of his professional career was then spent playing hockey overseas.
